JARED AND KRISTINE MEYER 
graduated from Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming with a degree in Equine Training and Management. He competed in High School and College Rodeo and qualified for High School National Finals his senior year in Saddle Broncs. He trains horses and gives lessons and clinics as well as buys and sells horses across the nation. Jared married Kristine Bartels on July 31, 2010. She is a Registered Nurse and is also in charge of the advertising, and video and picture editing for the business. Their son Logan is working on becoming the next horse trainer at MHC.
JOEL AND ASHLEY MEYER
also attended Laramie County Community College for Equine Training and Management. Joel competed in High School and College Rodeo and qualified for High School Nationals in the Saddle Bronc division his Freshman and Senior year. He trains horses and is also a farrier. He helps with giving clinics and also buys and sells horses across the nation. Joel's wife Ashley Mastel is the Secretary/Book keeper for the business and spends many long hours preparing for horse sales. She also is a graduate of the Midwest Equine Dental Academy in Mt Plesant, Michigan. She provides many services to our horses and others. Their little girl Hadley Jo Meyer was born December 29, 2009. She already has a great love for horses!
JESSE MEYER
graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA with a major in Ag Business. He competed in High School Rodeo in calf roping and team roping and qualified for High School National Finals his junior and senior year in both events and now competes in many local and U.S. Team Ropings. In the fall of 2009, Jesse attended classes to become a Realtor and attained his Realtor’s license in January of 2010 and now works as a Real Estate Agent for American Realty of Dubuque, Inc. in Dubuque.
DARLENE MEYER
Retired Secretary/Book Keeper/Advertiser/Video Editor. Darlene has decided in January 2011 to hand over her responsibilities to her two daughter-in-laws. Hopefully they can do as great of a job as she has for so many years!!
DENNIS MEYER
Besides helping operate and manage the horse business, Dennis was an auctioneer, realtor and farmer. Unfortunately, Dennis passed away at the young age of 56 from a sudden heart attack on July 31, 2009. We will all miss him forever, and will forever hold his spirit in our hearts.
We all work together as a family to do our daily chores and manage the family business of Meyer Horse Co. We pride ourselves in selling good, quality horses. Our sons have high expectations for the horses they train and aim to please their customers.
